Chez TERRE DES HOMMES ALSACE, l’argent remis chaque mois par les parrains va entièrement au programme où vit l’enfant. Ainsi, 20 € donnés sont 20 € utilisés pour ce programme. Comment cela est‑il possible ? L’explication tient en peu de mots : le bénévolat intégral.
Nos frais généraux, qui représentent moins de 1% de notre budget, sont largement compensés par les fonds collectés par nos membres actifs (stands, actions et manifestations diverses, etc.).
L’enfant vit dans une communauté
Quand nous aidons des enfants dans des crèches, des orphelinats, des écoles… nous n’aidons pas uniquement ceux qui sont parrainés. C’est pourquoi nous n’assurons aucun échange personnel entre un parrain et un enfant. Serait‑il acceptable qu’un enfant reçoive une lettre, un colis, un cadeau… entouré de ses copains qui n’ont rien reçu ?
Concrètement
Nous envoyons à chaque parrain un dossier qui donnera des renseignements concernant le programme du pays choisi. Pour l’illustrer, une photo d’enfant ou d’un groupe d’enfants appartenant à ce programme sera jointe.
